Robbie Williams is arranging the 3rd Football help event to occur later on, say reports. Robbie Williams Morning Sun single is also released soon so it will be a busy time for the pop star.

The event, which airs on ITV1, formerly happened in 2006 and 2008. Stars including Angus Deayton, Jamie Theakston, Gordon Ramsay and Danny Jones played in the Britain vs Rest of the Earth matches. Robbie Williams is arranging this year’s Football help, due to occur in June at Manchester United’s Old Trafford ground. The charity event will be hosted by Dermot O’Leary - who will be standing in for regular hosts Ant & Dec - because they’re too busy shooting the subsequent series of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’. Stars rumored to be concerned include Alan Shearer and Zinedine Zidane. Football help is a soccer match between 2 groups - comprising of celebs and World Cup legends. Wedding Musicians Get Everyone Dancing
Weddings are a time for jubilation and nothing sets the tone better than the right music. Although the ceremony itself often reflects the romance of the classical era, when it comes to the reception people want to have fun, making it a memorable event that brings out the laughter, love, and delight everyone is feeling. Therefore, the selection of wedding music or, better yet, wedding instrumentalists can become an important choice.
You’ve got a lot of options, and canned music could work okay, but by the time someone agrees to run it and the music is collected the result is less than desirable. DJs are more popular and they provide the equipment and music picks preferred, but can be pricey with less than excellent results in some cases. For brides who really want something wonderful, nothing beats the sound of a live dance band that can react and respond right away to the demands of party-goers and cost is often equal to that of a good DJ. The question then becomes what kind of band or players to hire that will leave guests in awe and remembering the event for some time to come.
Many wedding musicians, like Reel Ting, are not limited to genre when it comes to music. Classic music played on steel drums provides a twist on the original composition that is not only matchless, but produces pretty, melodious music that is especially unique. When the party kicks into high gear, however, they are more than set to enliven the party with a beat that will ensure party-goers never want to break. With the alternatives provided by steel drum bands, feeling like one is on a tropical isle can be experienced no matter where the event is held.
When booking any band it’s important that sufficient experience and references are supplied and that they are checked thoroughly. After all, a bride has only one opportunity in their lifetime to do it well so assuring that the greatest band is employed for the event will save much headaches. For instance, a steel drum band like Real Ting with ten years of experience and many letters of testimonial can assure engaged couples that their event will be a memorable experience.
The right wedding musicians should bring flair, flamboyance, talent, and professionalism to any event. Florida is fortunate in that it has many alternatives for live music, but maybe it is most fortunate for the talented steel drum bands, like Reel Ting, that are based there. For any couple planning to get married, whether residents Florida or those traveling in for a destination wedding, it should be a first choice to make the occasion unforgettable and unique.
Reel Ting is South Florida’s favorite steel drum wedding band. Call today to book your date, and get ready for your guests to have the time of their lives at your wedding.

50 Cent has said that he wants Robbie Williams to give him a call so that they can arrange to work together.
The rapper also revealed that an earlier attempt by the pair to collaborate was foiled when Williams entered rehab.
“I’ve pretty much worked with everybody I want to work with in the music industry apart from Robbie Williams. I really want to do something with him,” he said.
“During the Curtis album we talked about working together, and we set up some time to go into the studio to make something happen, and then he went to rehab right before we got into our session. So it never actually happened. But I still want to do it.”
The 34-year-old said that Williams has a “unique voice” and a “different kind of energy to anyone”, and told the Sunday Mirror: “It will make for a different kind of hit record. So make sure you tell him to pick up the phone.”
50 Cent, real name Curtis James Jackson III, added that he is determined to become the first black James Bond. “We’ve got a black president. Now we need the first black James Bond. I’m down with that. I’ve got the watch for the role,” he said.
Mandelson to Go Ahead With Anti-piracy Law
Even as fresh disapproval for the anti-piracy law comes in from national security agencies like MI5 and MI6, Lord Mandelson has reaffirmed that there is no question of reconsidering or re-evaluating the measures to be taken. The law will be in force soon, he assured.
The anti-piracy law aims to curb illegal downloads and unauthorised file sharing over the internet. When the next Digital Economy bill is passed, this law is expected to come into force. However, a lot of protest has been raised against the provision of this law that will authorise disconnection of service for habitual offenders.
Service providers and the public have both pointed out several disadvantages that monitoring and interference will give rise to. Recently, law enforcement agencies joined the protestors in saying that having complex monitoring systems to track and measure activity online is set to be a time and money consuming process and will probably be ineffective in many cases, as offenders will use encryption to avoid detection.
However, Lord Mandelson set aside all these objections and announced that his plans will soon be enacted, as stern measures are definitely the need of the hour to tackle piracy menace. Once the law comes into force, suspected offenders may initially have their bandwidth throttled. If this does not discourage them from continuing illegal activities, their accounts will be disabled. Ofcom has been assigned the task of monitoring the usage.
The law will come into force in 2010 with provision for bandwidth restriction. If this proves inadequate, a tougher policy authorising disconnection will be implemented in 2011. The internet provider and content source will share costs incurred in monitoring.

Are You Struggling to Find Concert Tickets?

Unless you’ve plenty of time, purchasing a concert ticket before it sells out is not easy. For example, the entire Manic Street Preachers tour of the UK in 2007 sold out in under and hour. How does an individual who’s at work when the tickets go on sale in reality get a ticket?
They have to get one second-hand.
In the grim days prior to the internet, you had to purchase your second-hand ticket via a ticket tout at the actual event. This inevitably meant getting ripped off, or even possibly handed fake tickets which would likely be recognized as such as you tried to enter the event - meaning you miss the sports event or music gig while wasting your money by being defrauded.
Nevertheless, things have improved for music and sports devotees. With much thanks to the internet, the secondary ticket niche has cleaned up its act in the last decade. These days there is so much competition to resell tickets online, the market has become self-regulating. The tickets you sell don’t have insurance? I’ll buy that ticket somewhere else! And so many ticket sellers provide insurance if the sports event / music gig is called off. And with tough competition online, secondary tickets have become cheaper to the point that it can sometimes be you’re not spending a lot more than the actual original value of the ticket.
Today you can purchase tickets for many sorts of sports events and concerts. From soccer to basketball matches to cricket, right through to getting your mitts on decent seats for your favourite band; secondary tickets offer up a second chance to go to the event you want to go to. So how to get hold of tickets online? Simply use a search engine and enter in your keywords like Depeche Mode tickets, and you will find a large range of secondary ticket agents who can offer that very ticket to you.
Not everyone is happy with the idea of secondary tickets however. For example, Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails calls secondary ticket agents “parasites”, and he’d like to see an end to the resale of event tickets. However, he’s missing the point of resold tickets : people simply do not have the time to queue up for tickets. They’re more likely working when the tickets are on sale, and physically cannot be in the right place at the right time to get hold of the ticket they want in that precious 60 or so minutes it takes for an entire tour to sell out.
While there is strong competition between secondary ticket agents, we believe this is a much needed service for true fans who were unable to buy the tickets the first time around.
Paloma Faith Is a New Quirky Singer

Paloma Faith is unashamedly quirky and eccentric. So much so that when Insider caught up with the up-and-coming British singer last week, it was hard to tell what was for show and what was reality.
“We’re still in bed in England,” Faith said down the phone line in a strong East London accent.
“I’m still wearing sequins. It’s slightly uncomfortable when you wake up, like when you’ve slept on something and its shape embeds in your skin, so in the morning I tend to look like a lizard, but it’s worth it.”
Faith has quickly be come known for pushing boundaries, both in fashion and with her unique vocal style, which has been compared to Amy Winehouse and Duffy.
She doesn’t mind the comparisons, describing her music as “nostalgic and cinematic with a contemporary twist”.
She says she likes the word “eccentric” as well.
“I hope the music transports people,” she says.
Faith’s first single - Stone Cold Sober - debuted at number 17 on the UK charts and was released in Australia this weekend.
In October, she is scheduled to visit here for the first time, promoting the single and her forthcoming debut album, Do You Want The Truth or Something Beautiful?
Faith is also an actress and starred in 2007’s St Trinian’s with Russell Brand, Lily Cole and Colin Firth.
She will also be seen in Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus, Heath Ledger’s final film before his death last year.
“He (Ledger) was very very devoted to his work,” she said.
RECORDER

When you talk about tools to document a speech, you use a recorder to put it all into a piece of tape. But when you speak of music, there is only one recorder that will be pointed to you, and that is the woodwind musical instrument that is always referred to as a flute. Though they are of the same family, a recorder is a fipple-blown instrument with eight holes - seven finger holes and a thumbhole at the back. Misinterpreted, as an easy musical instrument for children, but some may have not taken notice of how it is still being used by professionals. Flute is rather a mainstream in orchestras but not everyone knows that they are of the same age as the recorder. Famous musicians made a score out of a recorder, so misconceptions that this merely a child’s toy is quite unfair to professionals who are fund of this instrument and had their whole life making a faultless piece.
It could be the easiest to play sloppily and the hardest to play well especially if it will accompany other instruments. Though there are different tunes that can be fit to play along with others, it is normally the other instruments that need tuning to align with that of the recorder. So with this dilemma it is often played in solo.
Once you start covering the holes, you will soon discover that your fingers play a vital part to get the right tune. Practice is necessary in learning any type of musical instrument and playing songs or simple scores that you like, can get you or move you to another level as a professional recorder player.
